DESCRIPTION:Riverside Park\, one of Beatrice's beautiful city parks\, is the location of the 3rd Annual Arts in The Park Festival on Ocotober 6th\, 2007. The time is 10AM-5 PM. In cas of inclement weather the event will be held at Gage County Fairgrounds-Ag Hall. FREE-admission\, parking and kids craft area. Bring your lawn chairs or blankets and enjoy the live entertainment. Art demonstrations from area artists will be held along with art exhibits from area schools. New in 2006 was walk-through mazes and this year expect some new twist and turns added. Governor Heineman has declared 2007 as the year of the windmill and a statewide public arts project has been initiated. So we are asking for windmils to be incorporated into this event.
