DESCRIPTION:The First Nebraska Volunteer Infantry\, Company A\, will present a Civil War battle re-enactment\, based on the Battle of Antietam\, at the Pawnee City Historical Days. The event offers an opportunity for family fun and learning. Visitors can see an old time thresher at work\, turn the crank to help churn butter\, or try water "witching" to see whether the small tree branch will turn down for them when they walk over an underground source of water.\n\n\n\nMany more activities for the whole family. Food also available.\n\n\n\nChurch service will be held at 10:00 am in the one room country school that serves a chapel.
