DESCRIPTION:Members of the public wanting to learn how to care for themselves\, their family\, and the community during a disaster are encouraged to participate in Community Emergency Response Teams.\n\n\n\nIt is offered June 1-3. June 1st- 6 to 9 pm\; June 2nd- 9 am to 5 pm\; and June 3rd- 11 am to 5 pm.\n\nTo participate in the training\, call Gage County Emergency Management Director Mark Meints at 402-223-1305 or email gagecoma@diodecom.net. Class size is limited to 25 students.\n\nThis training is offered for free by way of the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security Citizen Corps funding to Nebraska Emergency Management Agency and the local "Point of Contact" for Citizen Corps: Volunteer Partners of Lincoln.
