DESCRIPTION:The Firehearts Youth Group of Homestead Baptist Church will be fasting for 30 hours from 12 noon Friday May 6th to 6pm Saturday May 7th\, in order to raise money for children all around the world who are dying of malnutrition. Starvation is a major problem in the world today\; a child dies from hunger-related causes EVERY 10 SECONDS! World Vision is an organization that fights to stop hunger and we can help. Just $1 will provide food\, water\, health care\, education\, and economic opportunity to a child for a day. Our youth group is small and our goal for this year is to raise $1000\, but with your help we could do so much more.
