DESCRIPTION:"Remembering Our Fallen" photographic exhibit at Homestead National\n\n                            Monument of America\n\n \n\nHomestead National Monument of America is proud to host the photographic exhibit "Remembering Our Fallen."  This exhibition\, featuring photographs of Nebraska and western Iowa armed forces members killed during service in Iraq and Afghanistan can be experienced at the monument's Education Center from February 19 through February 27.\n\n \n\nThe "Remembering Our Fallen" photo exhibit was assembled by Bill and Evonne Williams\, who developed the exhibit to keep the memory of these fallen heroes in peoples' thoughts and not let them be forgotten.  The photo panels show the portraits of these servicemen and servicewomen\, mostly in uniform\, listed from the first killed in action to the most recent.  Often smaller\, more personal photos were provided by the families and added later.\n\n \n\n"We hope you will take the opportunity to witness this important and moving exhibit at Homestead National Monument of America\, and remember and honor those who have fallen in service to this great nation\," says Superintendent Mark Engler.\n\n \n\nBringing this exhibit to Homestead National Monument of America is being sponsored by numerous Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Posts in Nebraska as well as Friends of Homestead National Monument of America.\n\n \n\nHomestead National Monument of America is a unit of the National Park Service located four miles west of Beatrice\, Nebraska.  Hours of operation are Monday-Friday\, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.\; Saturday-Sunday\, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.\n\nAdmission to all events\, exhibits\, programs\, and displays is free of charge.
