DESCRIPTION:Free Summer Campfire Program Series\n\n	The tradition of storytelling returns. Surrounded by the glow of firelight\, enjoy eight evenings exploring the adventure and intrigue of American history. All programs begin at 7 p.m. and last about one hour at the Education Center. The next 4 programs are:\n\n	 \n\n	July 4  "Remembering 150 Years Ago: Independence Day of 1862"\n\n	            Blake Bell\, Park Historian\n\n	            Music Program by John Bstandig\n\n	 \n\n	July 7   "To Live and Die on the Plains"\n\n	             Jeff Barnes\, Humanities Scholar\n\n	             Music Program by Noel Ditmars\n\n	 \n\n	July 14  "A Century of Fashion\, 1870-1970"     (Held Inside)\n\n	             Sue McLain\, Humanities Scholar\n\n	             Music Program by Greg Wells\n\n	 \n\n	July 21   "Music of the Plains"\n\n	               David Marsh\, Humanities Scholar\n\n	 \n\n	 \n\n	Homestead National Monument of America is a unit of the National Park Service located 4 miles west of Beatrice.
