DESCRIPTION:University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Tractor Safety/Hazardous Occupations Course will be offered in Beatrice at the Extension Office and on the Gage County Fairgrounds on June 14-15.\n\n\n\nThe class will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Federal law prohibits youths under 16 years of age from working on a farm other than their parents'.\n\n\n\nRegistration is strongly encouraged by June 7 by contacting the Extension Office in Beatrice at 402-223-1384 or email gage-county@unl.edu. The course registration is $60\, which includes supplies\, lunches and breaks.\n\n\n\nContact the Gage County Extension Office or Sharry Nielsen at 308-832-0645\, snielsen1@unl.edu.
