Free services for children from qualifying low-income families include a school physical, vision screening, backpack filled with pencils, pens, crayons, and other school supplies, a health kit with shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste and soap and a clothing voucher.
All participating children and their families will receive a coupon for a free hot dog, chips and drink the evening of the event.
Ready-Set-Go is organized by Beatrice Community Hospital and Health Center and the Salvation Army and is supported by community businesses and organizations.
