Camp Paw Paw

The Beatrice Humane Society has scheduled its fifth annual "Camp Paw Paw," a summer day camp especially for kids who love animals.  This year's camp is sponsored by Beatrice Noon Kiwanis and the camp leaders are Kathy Woodward and Kyla Moore.  Two sessions are planned for this year.

Session one will be held July 26- 28 and session two will be held August 2-4.  Morning and afternoon classes will be offered each week.  Morning classes will be held from 9 a.m.-noon and are for kids entering grades 3-5.  Afternoon classes wil be held from 1:30-4:30 p.m. and are for kids entering grades 6-8. 

The cost per session will be $35 per child and the fee includes all craft materials, daily snack and drink, and a Camp Paw Paw T-shirt.

Space at Camp Paw Paw is limited and pre-registration is required.  Registration forms are now available online at www.beatricehumanesociety.com or they can be picked up at the Beatrice Animal Shelter at 300 Ella Street, Beatrice.  Completed forms and payment must be received at the Beatrice Animal Shelter by July 5th.
