Drought Recovery and Water Wise Landscape Practices

University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension is offering several lawn and garden programs this spring that are open to the public and part of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Master Gardener training program.
How will lawns, trees, and shrubs recover from the drought? Learn how different plant material in the landscape collect, store, and use water to grow and survive. Specific skills will be taught to correctly water plant material, reduce chemical runoff and conserve water- Presented by John Fech, Douglas/Sarpy County Extension Educator and Laurie Stepanek, Forest Health Management Assistant, Nebraska Forest Service.
