Hazardous Waste Collection

 
As we are quickly approaching this years' household hazardous waste collections, we are requesting your help in spreading the word to those in your area! Requests have been sent to local newspapers and radio stations and Five Rivers RC&D Council Members are out putting up flyers!-We are requesting your help in placing our flyer http://cloud.chambermaster.com/userfiles/UserFiles/chambers/41/File/Allinoneflyer-2013.pdf on your city/organization's websites and/or hanging the flyer in your local offices. (see attached-Note: There is an All-In-One flyer with all events and a flyer for each county-choose your county flyer)
 
Please keep in mind that the collections are not limited by city or county - For example, Thayer County residents are welcome to bring their items to the Jefferson County event! And, if you have residents that can't make the date or time of their county event, encourage them to try and attend another event in another location! Our goal is to safely collect as many items as possible in order to preserve our natural resources for years to come!
