President Lincoln's 200th Birthday Celebration at Homestead National Monument
In honor of President Abraham Lincoln's 200th birthday.
Homestead National Monument of America will hold a special evening program at the Homestead Education Center.
The program will feature music, reenactments, films and refreshments.
4:00 pm Musician Chris Sayre of Lincoln - selection of songs & instruments from Civil War Era
5:00 pm Historical re-enactor Ron Rockenbach will portray Union & Confederate Civil War soldiers
6:00 pm Birthday Cake & refreshments
6:30 pm Homestead Historian Todd Arrington - presentation Lincoln's role in Homestead Act
7:00 pm Three National park Service films on Lincoln's life will be shown
