Beatrice High School Concert

The Beatrice Regional Orchestra will be joined by the Beatrice High School Concert Choir and the Norris Titan Singers in a special concert, "Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs"

The orchestra will perform the first half of the concert and the choirs will join in for the second half to perform "Missa Festiva" by John Leavitt, a 25-minute contemporary mass.  The concert will feature around 140 singers in addition to the orchestra.

The orchestra will be doing pieces by Bach and Handel, as well as the fourth movement from Mendelssohn's Reformation Symphony and Finlandia by Silbelius.

The final piece, "Were You there," was written by director Kevin Boesiger for the choirs and orchestra.
