Chicken Barbeque

Beatrice American Legion Post 27 is hosting its 10th annual Winter Chicken Barbeque March 6, at the Legion Club, 701 Dorsey St.
One-half chicken with all the trimmings, along with ice cream, will be served from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. The cost is $8 per plate. Carry-out meals will be available. Advance tickets can be purchased at the club or from Legion members. All the proceeds will go toward the Legion's Children and Youth Programs, including American Legion Baseball, Boys State, Boy Scouts, County Government Day, Junior Law Cadet, Legion Rifle Competition and so on.
