Family activities Thanksgiving Weekend

Family activities at homestead National Monument:

Parents and grandparents b ring your children or grandchildren to Homestead National Monument of America to become Junior Rangers during the Thanksgiving Holiday weekend. Visitors can also celebrate the beginning of the Winter Festival of Prarie Cultures Nov. 28 with a program on German Russians by Jim Griess. He will give a presentation at the Education Center at 2 p.m.

Current hours of operation are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. - 5p.m. on the weekends.
