First Trinity Lutheran celebrates 135 years

The congregation of First Trinity Lutheran Church, rural Beatrice, is celebrating the church's 135th anniversary Sunday. The worship service begins at 9:15 a.m., with dedication of the Handicap ramp and Plaza project to follow. Rev. Russ Sommerfield, president of the Nebraska District, LCMS, will be the guest speaker.

The day's events will also include an historical presentation and a potluck luncheon.
